Small Town Tourist – Granville, Ohio

October 14, 2011

Growing up in a small town in Ohio I dreamed of the day that I would move away and become a “city girl”. The day my acceptance letter to Columbus College of Art & Design arrived I started packing my bags… which was about seven months before I actually had to leave. A good job, great actually, lured me to Los Angeles where I lived for two years before coming back to Columbus. All along the way the majority of the friends I made, even those in the heart of Hollywood, were from small towns all over America. Each friend speaks with fondness of the place they grew up, their old stomping grounds, and the characters that made it so special. “Small Town Tourist” was born out of my belief that every small town has it’s own history and charms worth discovering.

Granville, Ohio is a sweet little town, about thirty minutes outside of Columbus. It is perfect in Autumn, with the downtown tree’s ablaze and apple’s ripe for picking.

I love it! We’ll have to make a weekend trip sometime. You should come stay with us in Hudson, OH. It’s very cute, historic and of course you would have a free place to stay. We’d be happy to show you the hot spots.
