Weekend Thoughts: Embracing myself

It’s been a bit of a stressful week, and I can’t wait for the weekend.

Lately I have been having a little bit of a “crisis of self”, and Amanda from Here’s looking at me kid managed to perfectly wrap up my questions/fears/frustrations in her recent post. It spoke to my heart.

Daydreaming about the new Madewell collection, and thinking of creative ways to refurbish my current wardrobe

I’ve been plotting a summer vacation, but at the moment it’s only been at the daydreaming stage, so I related to my friend Evie’s method of escape. Plus her writing is lovely.

Saturday will be spent working on the garden, doodling, and making this or this for a friend’s BBQ thanks to Honey & Jam’s Pinterest

Sunday will be spent hanging out with family for my mom’s birthday. Happy Birthday Mom! And have a lovely weekend!
